Required for the platform to function. These cookies manage authentication sessions, CSRF protection, and core application state. They cannot be disabled without breaking platform functionality.

Analytics cookies

Optional — consent required

Vercel Analytics collects aggregate, anonymized data on page views and navigation patterns. No personal identifiers are tracked. No cross-site tracking. Data is used solely to understand how the platform is being used and improve it.

3. What we do NOT use

BoardsQA does not use:

Advertising or retargeting cookies
Social media tracking pixels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X)
Third-party behavioral tracking scripts
Fingerprinting techniques

4. Managing your preferences

When you first visit BoardsQA, a banner allows you to choose between accepting all cookies or essential cookies only.

Your consent is stored in your browser via localStorage:

cookie-consent: "all" — Essential + analytics accepted
cookie-consent: "essential" — Essential only

To change your preference at any time, clear your browser localStorage for boardsqa.com and reload the page. The consent banner will reappear.

You can also disable cookies entirely in your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent platform functionality including login.

5. Withdrawing consent

You can withdraw analytics consent at any time by clearing the cookie-consent key from localStorage and reloading the page. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.
